Draco Smart
Telescope.
A new kind of observatory. One you can carry with one hand. Featuring a powerful 90mm aperture, simultaneous dual-camera wide-angle and telephoto imaging, built-in guiding for 300-second exposures, and automated Hubble Palette SHO nebula stacking.
One Telescope.
Two stories from the same night.
Draco captures the universe at two completely different scales simultaneously. The 1/1.55-inch wide-angle camera (23.3mm equivalent) maps the sweeping expanse of the Milky Way and constellations, while the 50MP telephoto camera (1200mm equivalent) plunges deep into distant galaxies and intricate nebula filaments.
300-Second Single Exposures.
Built-in guide scope & derotation.
Long exposures are essential for unearthing faint cosmic dust clouds. Draco integrates a secondary guide scope that constantly monitors star drift and applies real-time microstepping corrections. Combined with physical CMOS field rotation correction, it eliminates star trailing completely without requiring complex equatorial polar alignments.
Automatic SHO Imaging.
Hubble Palette masters in one tap.
The SHO Edition features both the Hα+O III and S II+O III dual-narrowband filters built into an automated motorized wheel. Draco sequences target exposures across S II, Hα, and O III wavelengths automatically, separating channels and mapping them into classic blue-and-gold Hubble Palette masterpieces without manual stacking friction.

Need to Know.
What is the difference between the Standard Edition and the SHO Edition? +
Both editions feature the same 90mm aberration-corrected optics, wide-angle and 50MP telephoto dual cameras, and built-in guiding. The **SHO Edition** adds an automated internal S II + O III narrowband filter alongside the standard Hα + O III filter, sequencing exposures automatically to produce classic blue-and-gold Hubble Palette nebula images with one tap. The Standard Edition includes a built-in ND filter for solar imaging instead.
How does the built-in guide scope prevent star trailing during 300-second exposures? +
Traditional smart telescopes suffer from tracking errors and earth rotation blur over long exposures. Draco's secondary guide scope continuously monitors star drift in real time and commands precision microstepping motors to correct tracking errors instantly. Simultaneously, its CMOS sensor physically rotates to counteract field rotation, delivering pinpoint stars without requiring equatorial wedges or polar alignment.
Can I control the Draco telescope remotely from indoors? +
Yes! Using the DWARFLAB App and PhotonLink remote control, you can set Draco up outside under the stars and monitor or control your imaging session entirely from the comfort of your warm indoor living room or tent. The app handles target acquisition, autofocus, calibration frames, and live stacking automatically.
